All right, folks. I took some of your suggestions to heart, and can now present you with the new (and hopefully improved) Shoot the Glass.

First of all, you’ll have noticed I gave the site a makeover. I tend to do this a lot, but this time I felt it was warranted. I’ve added a bunch of new stuff; both site features and content. The design is sleeker and you should hopefully be able to find your way around better.

New features
- Live search: now if you type something in the search box, you can choose to either click the search button and get detailed results, or you can wait half a second to get live results, without having to click anything. Pretty neat.
- Rate movies: at the bottom of every review post, you will see a “rate this movie” area, with stars, so now you can vote for these movies too (assuming you’ve seen them) and I’ll know what you thought. Instant feedback! If you have a moment, please go back through all my old review posts (using the Archives is a good place to start) and add your own rating.
- Related posts: at the bottom of every post you’ll now see some links for posts related to the one you’re reading. This should hopefully help you find other posts that might interest you.
- Archives: new and improved archives which will hopefully help you find old stuff easier.

New content
- Hitchcount: this new list will track my progress through all of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies. Check out this list here.
- Alphabet Project: initially Will’s idea, I’m loving the prospect of delving into this list. I am going to take user suggestions on what movies to watch, so be sure to vote in the current polls right now.

That’s it for now. Please leave feedback if you have any, and let me know if you come across any bugs or places where I could improve the site. Other than that, all you need to do is stay tuned for a lot more content to come in the near future.
